- According to Chinese-language China Business News, the first phase of TD-SCDMA trial network construction in Shenzhen is expected to be completed by the end of October, with the second phase beginning in August and projected to finish by late December 2007. Meanwhile, following the completion of trial network deployment in Qinhuangdao, the deployment in Xiamen and Qingdao is reported to conclude soon. However, the construction of TD-SCDMA base stations in Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shanghai is expected to be laggard due to difficulties regarding site selection.
